Brooks & Dunn brought their REBOOT 2022 TOUR to Nashville on Saturday and fans inside the packed Bridgestone Arena were treated to a surprise appearance by ACM Entertainer of the Year, Miranda Lambert.
Lambert shocked fans when she appeared on stage during Brooks & Dunn’s performance of “Cowgirls Don’t Cry.”
“Somebody said Miranda Lambert was here tonight,” Ronnie Dunn shared from the stage mid-song. “We didn’t rehearse this so she’s not gonna show up. Miranda, you back there?”
The audience erupted in cheers as Dunn and Kix Brooks waited for Lambert to join them on stage.
“Miranda! Miranda!” Dunn shouted after a few minutes passed.
Moments later, Lambert appeared.
“I was back there getting drunk, enjoying the show,” she said as she walked on stage.
Sporting a cowboy hat, a belted denim dress, and white boots, Lambert jumped right in and sang the chorus to “Cowgirls Don’t Cry.”
“I just had to sing with B&D tonight,” she said, “It’s so good to see y’all.”
The award-winning artists exchanged hugs and Lambert said, “I’m going to drink, y’all entertain me now.”
But the duo didn’t let Lambert off so easy and encouraged her to stay on stage for just one more song: “Neon Moon.”
Lambert happily obliged and joined them in singing the chart-topping hit.
Brooks & Dunn’s Nashville performance also featured special guests Darius Rucker and Tyler Braden.
The REBOOT 2022 TOUR includes three more dates and will wrap on Saturday, June 25 in Detroit, Michigan.
After wrapping the tour, Brooks & Dunn, who remains the best-selling duo of all time, will play various fairs and festivals throughout the summer.
