RaeLynn is spreading holiday cheer with her own twist on Carpool Karaoke to promote her new Christmas project, Jingle Jangle Rock. The country star kicked off the series by picking up her first guest – her friend and Kane Brown’s wife, Katelyn Brown.
“So we are doing a carpool karaoke/get to know with me and my friends here in Nashville. I’m super excited. I had a Christmas album come out this year called ‘Jingle Jangle Rock’ that I’m very excited about and so to promote it, I just wanted to hang out with some of the people that I love and that I’m grateful for this holiday season,” the songstress explained.

RaeLynn’s car was completely decked out to the nines with twinkling lights, Santa hats, and ornaments, which went perfectly with their coordinated, festive ensembles that included some of RaeLynn’s limited edition holiday merch. Once Katelyn was in the car, the two got into the festive spirit by playing a round of “This or That: Christmas Edition” and singing along to some holiday classics.
During the game, they discussed some of their Christmas traditions like participating in Elf on the Shelf with their kids, baking homemade cookies and more.
RaeLynn also explained that Katelyn was one of her first friends in Nashville. They initially met through Kane, but their bond grew instantly and now they get to enjoy being neighbors.
“We’ve been friends for a really long time and we love each other so much…People ask who your genuine friends are, even if we weren’t in the industry, we would be friends no matter what.”
“One hundred percent,” Katelyn confirmed.
After warming up with the favorites like Justin Bieber’s “Mistletoe” and “Last Christmas” by the English duo Wham!, they turned the energy up with a few high-energy tracks from RaeLynn’s new EP, singing and dancing along together. This five-track collection of songs features the Texas native’s signature sass and feel-good energy with her renditions of Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph” and Alan Jackson’s “I Only Want You for Christmas,” as well as three brand-new originals.
Speaking on the project, she shared, “Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I just love the tradition of it, all the vibes, the lights, the craziness, the hustle and bustle of it. So we put out this project.”
As the ride came to a close, RaeLynn and Katelyn reflected on what really matters this holiday season. For Katelyn, gifts aren’t the priority. Instead, she says she just wants to spend a wonderful day with her family. RaeLynn agreed, sharing that as a parent, the magic of Christmas is all about seeing it through her children’s eyes.
Since she isn’t focused on getting gifts for herself, Katelyn was asked what her wish would be for the world. She kept it simple, responding, world peace. RaeLynn added her own response to the question, explaining she would like to see people reconnecting with their inner child and to cherish life’s most precious moments with their loved ones.
They wrapped up the episode by looking ahead to the new year with gratitude and excitement. Katelyn talked about slowing down to enjoy precious moments with her kids as Kane takes a break from touring for the first time in years and expressed her excitement for the new projects he has in the works.

“For us, some good family time, some new projects, things to get excited about, things that are new like we’ve kind of been doing. Kane’s gonna take a year off touring, I mean there will be some shows… I’m really excited for him to come out with some new music,” shared Katelyn. “He’s having fun with that. And for me, I think just really enjoying this time with the kids because I’m realizing how quickly it goes. And Krewe’s already getting so big and I’m like, before I know it, he’s going to be four years old and I just want to soak in my baby time.”
The “Heaven Is A Honky Tonk” singer, who is also a mom herself to her daughter Daisy Rae Davis, commended her friend on her work with Kane, including their duets, “Thank God” and “Body Talk.”
“One thing that I love is that y’all do it together. And I think that that’s what’s so special about you and Kane is y’all really are setting your own narrative and doing what you guys want to do.
And it’s just it works for y’all and I’m excited for y’all.”
RaeLynn is fresh off her time on the road in support of Jason Aldean’s Full Throttle Tour and already has a few performances scheduled for 2026.
