Riley Green tapped Megan Moroney to surprise fans on stage and sing Ella Langley’s part on the title track to his just-released album, Don’t Mind If I Do.
The unexpected collaboration took place on Thursday, November 14 at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL as part of Audacy’s Stars and Strings country concert. Several fans who were lucky enough to witness this collaboration in-person captured the moment on stage and shared it across socials. The clips showcase the pair sitting on a set of barstools as Green strums his guitar and sings alongside Moroney.
The Alabama native earns hoots and hollers from the crowd as he delivers the opening verse and chorus of the heartbreaking ballad. Then just as Langley does in the original recording, Moroney joins in on the second verse and creates angelic harmonizing with Green as they describe the pain of struggling to move on.
“And I don’t mind if I do/ Drink up the nerve and show up at your house/ If you wanna know the truth, it’s killin’ me not holdin’ you right now/ I’m one memory away from fallin’ all the way apart/ ‘Cause I might still love you/ And I hope you don’t mind if I do,” they sing on the emotional chorus.

Green’s delicate guitar plucks and emotive storytelling paired with Moroney’s “emo cowgirl” spirit made for an unforgettable performance of the tune. After delivering their final notes, the country stars shared a hug and then Moroney exited the stage, allowing the “Different ‘Round Here” singer to finish out his set.
Presented by Discover and hosted by KISS Country 99.9 (WKIS-FM), the sold-out evening also featured performances by Jordan Davis, Parker McCollum and Bailey Zimmerman. Nate Smith was also set to take the stage, but unfortunately had to cancel due to illness.
These country stars came together to put on a show in support of Folds of Honor. A portion of the proceeds from Stars and Strings benefitted organization that offers scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military personnel as well as families of our nation’s first responders.
“Don’t Mind If I Do” serves as the title track to Riley Green’s third studio album, which was unveiled on his birthday, October 18. Throughout these 18 songs, listeners hear stories relating to his small-town upbringing in rural Alabama and moments from his real-life.
The project also features fan-favorites like “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way,” “Change My Mind,” “Rather Be,” and more.
Green once again teamed up with his longtime producer, Dann Huff, as well as Executive Producers Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen to bring this collection to life.
He and “You Look Like You Love Me” duet partner, Ella Langley, have been earning critical acclaim for their catchy collaboration over the past few months and in March of 2025, they will hit the road together for Green’s Damn Country Music Tour.
Langley is set to serve as a special guest alongside a few other rising acts. The already sold-out trek kicks off in Abbotsford, BC, Canada and runs through next August with dates across Canada and the U.S.
Megan Moroney is fresh off the release of her own album, Am I Okay? and will also be embarking on her headline run of the same name starting in March.
