Thomas Rhett is tugging at the heartstrings with the release of a new video for his tender song, “Chapter 10.”
Inspired by his real-life love story with his wife, Lauren, the video combines nostalgic clips documenting moments in their lives that have led them to where they are today, with a house full of four daughters and another child on the way.

The video opens with the moment the country star asked Lauren’s dad for her hand in marriage. He notes, “I have loved your daughter since she was 15 and I was 15 and ever since we’ve been dating, I’ve wanted to marry her from day one.”
From there, the uplifting tune begins to play and Rhett sets out to take listeners on a journey of the highs and lows of a relationship and all the milestones that come between. Within the tune, he reveals that their love story isn’t nearly over yet because just as one chapter comes to a close, there’s another one waiting to begin.
He sings, “Chapter ten, girl, we were over/ And I think most people would say Ain’t no way you walking ‘way’s thе final page, oh/ In between my drunk and sober/ I’vе been kneeling down to pray/ We just ain’t got to the part out in the rain where I’d get you back/ And I’d live happily ever after with you honey/ But this ain’t where our story ends/ Goodbye’s only chapter ten out of twenty.”
Through the years of never-before-seen home footage captured by Lauren’s dad, Steve Gregory, viewers don’t just hear about Rhett sing about their love story, they get to witness it through real-life memories.
The first few “Chapters” offer a glimpse into their early days of dating, navigating high school and crossing off a few firsts. As the video moves on, we see them grow up together, say “I do,” and become Mr. + Mrs. Akins. Their life as a family of two doesn’t last long though, as they soon travel to Africa to meet Willa, who would become their eldest daughter.
From there, their love continues to grow, welcoming three more beautiful girls who become part of their story and the memories that unfold in this video. The clips document new kinds of milestone moments like gender reveal parties and Baby No. 5’s pregnancy announcement. Woven in between these personal memories is a compilation of the “After All The Bars Are Closed” singer’s award show wins which always include Lauren by his side.

Penned by John Byron and Blake Pendergrass, “Chapter 10” appears on Thomas Rhett’s latest collection, About A Woman (Deluxe), which added nine new songs to Thomas Rhett’s original project, making for a total of 25 tracks.
The country star recently brought his Better In Boots tour to a close after a year of unforgettable live shows. Next up on the books for Rhett is a trip to the UK in July and August of 2026 as a supporting act on Luke Combs’ My Kinda Saturday Night Tour.
