2022 CMT Music Awards: Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson & More To Perform

The first round of performers for the upcoming 2022 CMT Music Awards has been revealed and Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert and Cody Johnson are among those set to take the stage during the star-studded broadcast. 

Also confirmed to perform are co-host Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson and Keith Urban.

Nominees for the 2022 CMT Music Award were revealed last week with Kane Brown earning the most nominations. Other top nominees include Kelsea Ballerini and Mickey Guyton, who scored three nods each, as well as first-time nominees BRELAND and Cody Johnson. Other first-time nominees include Brittney Spencer, Caitlyn Smith, Elvie Shane, MacKenzie Porter, Priscilla Block, Tenille Arts, H.E.R., Nelly, Gladys Knight and Paul Klein of LANY.

Carrie Underwood, who holds the title of the most-awarded artist in CMT history with 23 career wins, has two nominations, including a nod in the Video of the Year category. 

Co-hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Anthony Mackie, the 2022 CMT Music Awards will air live from Nashville on Monday, April 11 from 8:00-11:00 PM EST (delayed) PT on CBS.

This marks the inaugural broadcast of the CMT MUSIC AWARDS on the CBS Television Network, which will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+*. Each winner is selected by the fans, with voting now open at vote.cmt.com. 

CMT will additionally air CMT MUSIC AWARDS EXTENDED CUT with an added 30 minutes of new performances and extra bonus content on Friday, April 15th (8:00-11:30 PM ET), as part of CMT MUSIC AWARDS WEEK.

Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
