2023 People’s Choice Country Awards: Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, & HARDY Are Top Nominees

Nominees for the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards have been revealed, and Morgan Wallen leads the pack with 11 nods.
Other top nominees include Luke Combs and HARDY, who each earned nine nods, Jelly Roll, who raked in eight nominations, Lainey Wilson with seven, and Zach Bryan and Kane Brown, who earned six apiece.
Billed as “an award show for the people and by the people,” the People’s Choice Country Awards will recognize the biggest and best country music has to offer within 12 award categories. The winners will be chosen entirely by the fans with voting open now through Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Fans can vote online at votepcca.com. Additionally, votes cast on Turbo Tuesday, Aug. 22 (12:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. ET) will count twice.
Hosted by Little Big Town, the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards will air live Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT simultaneously on NBC and Peacock from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
The show will extend across platforms with “Backstage Live: People’s Choice Country Awards.” The livestream will air on Peacock, PCA Twitter, NBC Twitter/Facebook/YouTube, TODAY All Day/Twitter, E! News Twitter/Facebook/YouTube/E!Online, Access Twitter/YouTube, and Circle TV Network and Circle social platforms, bringing red carpet arrivals, backstage chats and everything behind-the-scenes to fans at home.
Additionally, the show will honor several awards with additional awards, such as the previously announced Country Music Icon Award to Toby Keith, presented by Blake Shelton.

Lauren Jo Black, a University of Central Florida graduate, has immersed herself in the world of country music for over 15 years. In 2008, she co-founded CountryMusicIsLove, eventually selling it to a major record label in 2015.
