Last summer, fans went nuts over the launch of Luke Bryan’s Boldy Grown Popcorn in collaboration with Fendt. So this year, he and the agricultural equipment manufacturer have come together again to harvest an encore snack – Fendt & Luke Bryan’s Boldly Grown Peanuts.
This limited-edition packaged snack was inspired by Bryan’s Georgia upbringing as the son of a peanut farmer and his love for his Fendt® 724 Vario® tractor.
“Collaborating with Fendt to make peanuts for my fans means so much because I owe a lot of my work ethic and success to the lessons I learned helping out my dad at his peanut mill,” Bryan shared via press release. “Operating my Fendt 724 Vario really takes me back to those early years, though our tractors were nowhere near as powerful or capable as my Fendt!”
Harvested by Fendt Farmers, the tasty peanuts will be available in three bold flavors hand-selected by Bryan — Homegrown Honey Roasted, Sizzlin’ Sriracha Ranch and Down South Dill.
Last year’s batch of popcorn sold out within minutes, which unlocked a $25,000 donation from Fendt to the National Future Farmers of America Organization, the premier youth organization that prepares members for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. Since the previous snack was so successful, Fendt has agreed to double their donation to the National FAA Organization once the supply of Boldly Grown Peanuts sells out.
Luke Bryan & Fendt’s Boldly Grown Peanuts will be available for sale on Thursday, Aug. 31 esclusivley on BoldlyGrownGoods.com for $5.00 per can (plus shipping) while supplies last. Fans can purchase a maximum of one can per flavor beginning at noon ET on Thursday, August 31.
In addition to helping curate Bryan’s tasty snacks, Fendt is also an official sponsor of Luke Bryan’s annual Farm Tour, which brings the country star to stages on actual farms throughout the country.
“From sponsoring Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour to creating a packaged peanut with Fendt farmers, AGCO has made it clear that everything we do is about making farmers our top priority,” said Eric Hansotia, AGCO’s chairman, president and CEO. “We’re thrilled to pay homage to an essential aspect of Luke’s upbringing, and this substantial donation to the FFA also allows AGCO, Luke and his fans to help FFA prepare tomorrow’s farming leaders.”
Luke Bryan’ 14th annual Farm Tour is set to run from September 14 through September 23. The trek will find Bryan visiting five farms, including Mulberry Orchard (Shelbyville, KY), Miller Family Farm (Millersport, OH), Schnell Family Farms (Colfax, IA), Klondike Farms (Brooklyn, WI) and Gar-Lin Dairy LLC (Eyota, MN).
Kameron Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, Peach Pickers and DJ Rock will serve as support on the Georgia native’s Farm Tour.
“One of the reasons we created these Farm Tour shows – to bring the big-city tour to the people,” Bryan explained in a press release. “These nights are one-of-a-kind and we really enjoy getting to know the farmers and their families, love the whole atmosphere of playing on these incredible farms and watching entire communities come together and get excited about these shows.”
Before embarking on his Farm Tour, Bryan will continue on his current Country On Tour, which kicked off on June 15 in Syracuse, New York. Unfortunately, this trek has seen some setbacks in recent weeks due to the singer/songwriter’s ongoing vocal cord congestion.
After being forced to cancel and or postpone shows in Salt Lake City, Boise and Watershed, Bryan returned to the stage on Thursday, August 10, for a show in Rogers, Arkansas. He then attempted to push through his illness for his Nashville, TN show which then led to him having to make the difficult decision of canceling his show in Brandon, Mississippi scheduled for Sunday, August 13.
“Dear Brandon, MS I am regretfully going to have to cancel my show there tonight. Under doctor’s advice after taking 6 days off to heal I attempted to sing at both shows Thursday and Saturday and it was a struggle,” he wrote.
While sharing the news with fans via social media, Bryan continued to explain that taking the time to rest his vocals is vital at this time in order to avoid any further damage down the road.
“Every show I sing I’m setting my voice back. I will continue to do everything I can to get better. Please know how much you mean to me and how heartbreaking this is to do.”
The Country On Tour which runs through October 28, features special guests Chayce Beckham, Tyler Braden, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, Jon Langston, Conner Smith, Alana Springsteen, Hailey Whitters, and DJ Rock on select dates.
