Jordan, who has been a long time fan of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, opened up about the chance to appear on the show with Inside Ottawa Valley.
“I’m over the moon! It feels so surreal, and it’s such an honor and privilege to perform on a show that I genuinely love,” she shared.
She also opened up about the song and shared why she thinks it’s the perfect fit for the show.
“When I first heard ‘I Choose You,’ I was going through a difficult breakup,” Jordan explained. “I was trying to convince myself it was for the best but couldn’t seem to move on. Listening to ‘I Choose You,’ I had this moment of, ‘it’s him and there’s no one else I can spend my life with.’ That’s what ultimately led me to want to record the song, so when The Bachelor opportunity came about, I thought it was a perfect fit.”
The Bachelor airs on Monday, January 10 at 8/7c on ABC.
