American Idol returned Sunday with an all-new batch of contestants hoping to earn a ticket to Hollywood.

One contestant that really caught the attention of the judges was Grace Leer, who auditioned with an impressive cover of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy.”

After Greer offered her take on the country classic, the judges praised her for her unique vocals.

“It’s an instant identity, it’s undeniable you,” Perry shared.

“It sounds like a classic situation right off the bat. It’s not forced and it’s great and easy to listen to,” Bryan added.

Greer, a resident of Nashville, was brought to tears upon hearing their feedback.

The judges unanimously voted Greer through to Hollywood.

“Instead of yes, you get a yee-haw,” Perry excitedly shared.

Greer, who was overcome with emotion during the moment, told cameras, “I have been wanting to be a singer since I was a little girl and that was the first time that I ever felt like, holy crap, this is possible.”

American Idol airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.
