Dating Gwen Stefani has changed Blake Shelton’s life and the superstar says he doesn’t care to remember who he was before meeting the No Doubt singer.

In a December 2019 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the award-winning country star opened up about his personal life and credited Stefani for making him a better person.

“I don’t want to remember what I was like before Gwen, actually,” he confessed to the outlet.

He went on to admit that he “was a jerk to everybody” before his relationship with Stefani, but was only “a little bit of a jerk” to his longtime friend and The Voice cohort Kelly Clarkson.

“Look how nice I am now,” he joked.

Shelton and Stefani recently topped the country radio charts with their hit collaboration, “Nobody But You,” and also just released a new collab – “Happy Anywhere.”

Their latest duet is resonating with fans everywhere.

“I’m glad everyone is loving the song as much as we do,” the Oklahoma native shared. “It’s been fun for us to perform the song a few times and I can’t wait to be able to play this song on stage with an audience. Until then we’re going to be happy where we are.”
