A No.1 single on the country radio charts is nothing new to Blake Shelton, but his latest chart-topper is extra special as it features his longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani.
The couple’s stunning duet, “Nobody But You,” reached the No.1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, after garnering 80 million on-demand streams and spending seven consecutive weeks in the Top 3 of the country Shazam chart.
“I knew the moment I heard this song that I wanted to record it,” Shelton shared in a statement. “Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Tommy Lee James, you wrote a perfect song in which every lyric has meaning in my life, and I thank you. Another thanks goes to the fans who continue to listen – and I know there are a lot of distractions these days – one day soon we can all celebrate music together again. And finally, thanks to Gwen for joining me and making this one of the most special songs I’ve recorded. Congratulations on your first number one country single!”
“Nobody But You” is the latest single from Shelton’s latest release, Fully Loaded: God’s Country. The project also includes the superstar’s chart-topping smash “God’s Country” and the rowdy party anthem “Hell Right” featuring Trace Adkins.
