After sustaining extensive injuries in a head-on collision near his home in Atlanta in late August, Blanco Brown’s doctors say they expect the singer/songwriter/producer to make a full recovery.

According to a statement from Brown’s record label, “The Git Up” singer has been moved out of the ICU after undergoing two 12-hour surgeries. He is expected to make a full recovery without any additional surgeries and is continuing to rest in the hospital.

Brown, his family and friends want to thank fans for the outpouring of support they have received over the past few weeks. They are asking for continued prayers as he recovers in the hospital.
