Mark your calendars, Bobby Bones fans! The multi-media personality’s guest appearance on National Geographic’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls is officially slated to air Tuesday, January 14 at 10/9c.
Running Wild stars famed survivalist Bear Grylls, who “takes A-list celebrities on journeys into the wildest locations around the world, forcing the stars to push their bodies and minds to the limit to successfully complete the adventure of a lifetime.”
During the upcoming episode, Bones and Grylls make their way to a freezing cold Norway for an experience Bones refers to as the “scariest thing” he’s ever done in his life.
In a recent interview with Country Now, the American Idol mentor opened up about the daunting task of having to hunt for his own food on their journey.
“We found a sheep,” he recalled. “A bloated, muddy sheep at the bottom of this icy, marshy creek. And we had no food, so I ate a bloated, marshy disgusting sheep.”
Running Wild with Bear Grylls, now in its fifth season, has previously featured Hollywood A-listers like Kate Hudson, Channing Tatum, Zac Efron and Julia Roberts. In addition to Bobby Bones, the current season includes appearances by Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson and Call Me By Your Name’s Armie Hammer.
