A fire broke out at Carrie Underwood’s Tennessee home on Sunday evening (June 16), according to Williamson County Fire Rescue.

At 9:42 pm, teams from eight stations reportedly responded to the emergency, with Fairview Fire supplying a tanker. Upon arrival, officials told Nashville’s WKRN that they traveled up a “long road” to a “long driveway” where they found the primary residence. There, they found flames coming from the garage at the home and the Fire department reported that it was “upgraded to a structure fire.”

Thankfully, crews were “able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house.” They told News 2 that the home had a 10,000-gallon water tank on site and were able to hook up immediately. Firefighters who responded to the scene remained there for several hours to ensure that the fire did not ignite again.

This morning, Underwood’s spokesperson confirmed to Country Now, “There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation according to Williamson County Fire Rescue.

Update: Dinah Wade, a Williamson County Fire and Rescue spokesperson, told The Tennessean that the fire is suspected to have originated from an off-road UTV that caught fire and eventually spread to the garage.
