Luke Combs, 33, and Nicole Combs, 31, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Beau Lee Combs.

The couple made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday evening (Aug. 31), revealing that their son arrived more than two weeks ago, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

“8.15.2023 – Beau Lee Combs. Welcome to the world. We couldn’t love you more,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post alongside a video that shows a pacifier, hat, and a Polaroid that appears to be a photo of their newborn son.

In the clip, Nicole’s hands can be seen writing “Beau Combs” on the bottom of the Polaroid. The video was set to Cory Asbury’s “These are the Days.”

Beau Lee Joins 14 Month Old Tex Lawrence

It’s unclear if Luke Combs was present for the birth of his second child, as Beau came into the world as the country superstar was in the midst of his Australian and New Zealand leg of his World Tour. The tour launch took place at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on August 9. Luke Combs’ journey throughout Australian and New Zealand concluded in Perth, Australia on August 26.

Prior to Beau Lee’s arrival, Nicole opened up about the difficulties that came with planning for the arrival of their second child with Luke being on tour.

In a Q&A with fans on Instagram, Nicole said that Luke likely wouldn’t fly home if she happened to go into labor while he was on tour. “It’s around 20 hours to get back from Aus if he got on a plane immediately lol. So no,” she wrote.

At the time, Nicole said she hoped that their second son would arrive on time or late, rather than early like their first son, however, it appears Beau followed in Tex’s footsteps.

“I’m not due until after he gets back [from Australia], so I’m trying really hard not to go into early labor,” she wrote in early August. “With [our first child] Tex, I was doing everything in my power to get him out & he was a day early.”

‘2 Under 2’

The beloved couple first announced that they were expecting baby No. 2 in a joint Instagram post earlier this year in March.

At the time, the couple took to Instagram to share the exciting news with fans via a slideshow of sweet family photos that featured their son, Tex Lawrence, sporting a “big brother” onesie.

“Joining the 2 under 2 club!” Luke and Nicole shared at the time.

How They Met

Luke Combs and Nicole Combs recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on August 1.

Nicole was by Luke’s side long before he became a country music sensation. The couple met during the 2016 Key West Songwriters Festival in Florida. At the time, Nicole was working at BMI, who served as the host of the event, and Combs was a performer.

“I didn’t have anything going on when we met,” Luke explained during an appearance on the podcast Couple Things with Shawn Johnson and Andrew East. “I didn’t have a record deal or a publishing deal or anything.”

Nicole says she made the first move.

“I was leaving a songwriters round and he was walking up late to it and I was just like, ‘hey, come hang out with us, why are you by yourself?,” she recalled.

Thinking back to that night, Luke laughed and admitted, “Yeah, I looked bad too… I was wearing camo gym shorts from Walmart… classy, classy stuff. And like the oldest t-shirt that I owned, probably.”

Married On August 1, 2020

The couple began dating soon after and officially tied the knot on August 1, 2020. They shared footage from their wedding day in Luke Combs’ music video for his chart-topping hit, “Forever After All.”

Luke and Nicole became parents on June 19, 2022, when they welcomed a son, Tex Lawrence. They shared the news with fans on social media alongside a loving family photo.

“Welp he decided that Father’s Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy,” he wrote at the time. “Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”

Luke Combs’ schedule is clear until September 30 when he heads back overseas for a run of shows in Europe, which wrap up in late October with back-to-back shows at London’s O2 Arena.
