Canaan Smith is ringing in the new year with a new tour.
Dubbed the Pour Decisions Tour, the seven-city trek kicks off February 21 in Rootstown, Ohio. The tour will feature special guests REDFERRIN, Noah Schnacky and Kylie Morgan on select dates and will run through March 28.
“This is gonna be a big year, and I can’t think of a better way to kick it off than by hitting the road and heading to a few of my favorite cities,” Smith shared in a statement. “A new year means new music, and the Pour Decisions Tour is just a taste of what’s coming up. I can’t wait for people to hear what I’ve been workin’ on.”
The tour was named after Smith’s latest release, “Pour Decisions,” which was written by Smith alongside Corey Crowder, Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Ernest K Smith. The carefree tune tells the story of a breakup and the “pour” decisions that follow in the aftermath of it.
Smith recently signed to Round Here Records, which happens to be the brainchild of his good buddies Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line. Since then, he’s released a few new songs, including the feel-good summer anthem, “Beer Drinkin’ Weather” and the rowdy “Country Boy Things.”
The platinum-selling singer/songwriter, who recently welcomed his first child with his wife Christy, is currently in the studio working on new music and is expected to release it in the coming months.
