Carly Pearce has been teasing fans that she’s been sitting on some very exciting updates and on Monday, August 10, she finally broke three-part announcement via social media.
First off, the GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter revealed that she will be hitting the road this fall for her North American headline Country Music Made Me Do It Tour.
Fall Tour
“It’s been a crazy couple of years since I released 29 into the world, and I’m ready to begin this next chapter with you. I’m SO excited to bring the “Country Music Made Me Do It” Tour to life this fall, to celebrate the true beginning of a turned page in my life, both musically and personally. My friends at @conundrumwines are coming along for the ride & I have soooo many fun surprises up my sleeve. 😍” Pearce began in the Instagram post.
Presented by Conundrum Wines, the 10+ city tour will kick off October 5 at The Town Hall in New York City and continue through cities like Boston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Detroit and more before wrapping up on November 18 in Detroit.
Adam Doleac and Hannah Ellis have been tapped to join Pearce as support on select dates.
“Country Music Made Me Do It”
In addition, the “What He Didn’t Do” singer shared that the tour is named after her brand-new, unreleased song, “Country Music Made Me Do It.” Set for release on August 11 via Big Machine Records, the upbeat tune serves as a heartfelt love letter to country music as Pearce chronicles her long-standing relationship with the genre and the impact it has had on her life.
She continued, “I’ve been busy in the studio recording new music, and want to share a little of that with you too. “Country Music Made Me Do It” is the essence of this next chapter for me. I wrote this song as an autobiographical anthem, but I can’t wait to hear the ways YOUR story has been influenced by country music.”
The soon-to-be-released song follows Pearce’s latest rising single with Chris Stapleton titled, “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” as well as her No. 1 hit “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde, which recently was earned a Platinum certification by the RIAA.
The collaborative recording with McBryde ended up winning a GRAMMY® Award this year for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, marking the country singer’s first and making history as the first female pairing to win in the category, in addition to winning the 2022 CMA Musical Event of the Year and 2022 ACM Music Event of the Year.
Official Fan Club
For her third and final surprise, the female songstress shared that after years of fans requesting an official Carly Pearce Fan Club, the day has finally come.
“Lastly, you’ve been asking for years and it’s finally happening. MY FIRST OFFICIAL FAN CLUB! Y’all have given me the life of my dreams over the last 6 years and I can’t wait to connect on a deeper level. HERE. WE. GO! See y’all on the road this fall 🤍,” she wrote in conclusion.
