Justin Moore and Priscilla Block have officially risen to the top of country radio with their powerful duet, “You, Me, And Whiskey.”
This achievement marks Moore’s 12th No.1 on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart and Block’s first No.1 to date. In addition, the “Off The Deep End Singer” is the only female artist that is currently in the Top 10 on the Country Airplay chart this week.

Celebrating With Family
On Sunday (Aug. 6), the country stars each took to social media to celebrate this exciting milestone with a few heartfelt words.
In Justin Moore’s post, he revealed that the news came in the midst of his beachside family vacation. This allowed him to celebrate alongside loved ones.
“First #1 that South man really gets to enjoy, knowing what it means. Happy to be able to celebrate #12 with my family, while on vacation,” Moore shared alongside the slideshow of photos. “I can’t thank the fans and country radio enough for supporting this song.”
Justin Moore went on to praise his duet partner, Priscilla Block, and express his gratitude for the chance to be a part of this milestone moment in her budding music career.
“To have our 12th, and be a part of @priscillablock’s 1st, is incredibly special. I’ve told her this, but I almost feel like a proud older brother. PB has an incredible future ahead of her in this business. She’s super talented, and an awesome person. Those 2 things alone, will carry her far. I’m hopeful, she allows me to open for her in a few years. 😂 Congrats to PB, my team, and my label. Here’s to #13, and beyond. Much love. Thanks to all of you.”
“Can’t thank you enough. Love you!!!,” the female songstress wrote in response.
Brought To Tears
Block posted a snapshot of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart to showcase “You, Me, And Whiskey” sitting at the top just above Jelly Roll’s “Need A Favor.” While her message was brief, it was enough to explain just how much this feat means to her.
“I’m just gonna leave this one right here. I’ll be back in a second when I can process this… WE HAVE THE NUMBER ONE SONG ON COUNTRY RADIO…” Block shared as she tried to comprehend the news. Later adding, “crying right now… I don’t have a lot of words right now…”
“You, Me And Whiskey” was co-written by Jessi Alexander, Brock Berryhill and Cole Taylor, and produced by Jeremy Stover and Scott Borchetta. The RIAA-certified GOLD single is not only one of Moore’s fastest-climbing and best-consuming songs to date with roughly 85 Million streams and climbing, but it is also the first chart-topping duet of the Arkansas native’s career.
In addition, the pair of country artists recently dropped an acoustic rendition of the song as a way to thank all the fans who have continued to support their work in the studio. The stripped-down track reignites the steamy narrative of a couple who finds themselves looking for an escape from the daily “nine-to-five” of life after losing touch with their connection to one another. With a bit of self-reflection, the characters decide to take a step back and get their personal priorities back on track before it’s too late.
“It was you, me, and whiskey all night long / Sinkin’ to the bottom of them country songs / Fire burnin’ hot ‘til the last drop’s gone / Let’s turn it up, turn it up / ‘Til we take that black label buzz too far / And say them things that stay in the dark / Ain’t nothin’ as sweet / Ain’t nothin’ as strong / As you, me and whiskey all night long,” Moore and Block sing on the chorus.
Acoustic
The original version of the song appears on Justin Moore’s latest full-length album, Stray Dog. The 8-track release includes something for everyone as it tackles several different themes including comfort, joy, romance and even some opportunities for reflection.
Justin Moore is currently headlining arenas and making festival appearances throughout the summer and fall. He recently announced new dates on his You, Me, & Whiskey Tour with Priscilla Block, as well as Country riser Jon Langston, each joining as direct support on select dates.
As for Priscilla Block, she just dropped her latest release titled “Fake Names” and is currently on the road performing at various fairs and festivals throughout the summer. Along with her upcoming run with Moore, Block is gearing up to join Old Dominion on select dates of their No Bad Vibes Tour.
