Carrie Underwood took to social media on Tuesday (Jan. 21) to share a heartfelt message to her second-born son, Jacob Bryan, as he celebrates his first birthday.
“Happy birthday, Jacob! How are you already 1 year old? You are smiley, crazy, smart, soooo fast and into everything! And, apparently, you love cake,” Underwood wrote alongside an adorable series of photos capturing her little man’s cake smash. “I can’t wait to see your personality continue to shine! I have a good feeling you’re going to keep us all on our toes for years to come!”
“I thank God for you each and every day,” the seven-time Grammy winner continued. “You are truly our miracle baby!!! Mommy loves you! Swipe to see how cute the cake was before Jake got ahold of it!”
Jacob Bryan was born on January 21, 2019.
“Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good … ” Underwood shared on social media following his early morning birth.
Prior to conceiving Jacob, Underwood sadly suffered three miscarriages between 2017 and 2018. Underwood opened up about her fertility struggles in an emotional interview with CBS Sunday Morning in the fall of 2018.
