Carrie Underwood performed “Drinking Alone” during the two-hour ACM Presents: Our Country televised special on Sunday (April 5).

Practicing social distancing, Underwood performed her current single from what appears to be the comfort of her living room couch with a glass of red wine beside her. This in-home performance did not stop the country superstar from showing off soaring vocals on the Cry Pretty album track.

“I’m sorry we can’t all be together in person, but I’m glad we can all find ways to be connected,” Underwood shared with fans prior to her performance. “Just remember, we’re not really alone. We are alone, together, and that is exactly how we are gonna get through this mess.”

Sporting minimal makeup and a black sweater, Underwood concluded her couch performance by raising her wine glass.

“Cheers,” she said.

“Drinking Alone” was co-written by Underwood alongside David Garcia and Brett James.

ACM Presents: Our Country aired on Sunday (April 5) at 8:00 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network and on CBS All Access. The two-hour special also included performances from Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church and many more. The show also showcased clips of artists’ favorite moments the ACM Awards’ 55-year history.
