This isn’t the first time the female powerhouses have supported each other.
Previously Supported Each Other
In 2019, Lambert shared her support for Underwood’s CMA Entertainer of the Year nomination in a lengthy Instagram post. While she shared kind words about each nominee, Lambert championed Underwood for the honor.
“I’ve been thinking a lot about all the work that goes into what we do. The most amazing job in the world. But it ain’t for the faint of heart,” Lambert acknowledged. “@carrieunderwood is on an all-female tour too. The Cry Pretty Tour 360. She put out her first single in 2005 and from then on country music was changed for good.”
She went on to applaud Underwood for “classin’ up our stages, charts and televisions for a decade and a half.”
“The Voice. The legs. The songs. The brand. The mom. The wife. The okie. The Jesus lover. The blonde bombshell that is Carrie,” Lambert added. “She blows me away every time I hear her sing….never wavers in who she is or what she stands for. She has stayed true & pushed herself to be better. If you have never heard her sing ‘How Great Thou Art’ do yourself a favor and listen. I have her back in this picture and I’ll always have her back. So for the sake of sequins, spanx and spray tans, take it home! You Carrie the torch!”
The artists previously collaborated on the feisty anthem “Somethin’ Bad” in 2014. The song appears on Lambert’s fifth studio album, Platinum. It received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Duo/ Group Performance.
“Somethin’ Bad”
Miranda Lambert released Y’ALL EAT YET? Welcome to The Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen on April 25.
The book offers fans a look into the ACM Triple Crown honoree’s life at home and on the road. Readers will also learn more about her Texas roots and how the strong women in her family influenced her life and career.
“Watching my mom and her friends, I saw the way pitching in, working together, loving music and being there for each other is the greatest gift you can have in life. I think my mom inherited that gift from her mom, because they both attracted the most awesome group of girlfriends,” she previously shared.

Y’ALL EAT YET? also includes 50 recipes from her personal kitchen such as Nonny’s Banana Pudding, Paw Paw’s Bar-B-Que Sauce, and Whiskey Cupcakes. The book will be released on April 25, 2023.
“I think everybody’s life is marked by those delicious flavors of what you ate during special times,” Lambert explained. “The memories, the stories and the things you eat kind of mingle together, or maybe the meals and the snacks are the things that you can go back to that make the memories come back to life.”
Lambert is now a New York Times Best Selling author as the book landed at no. 3 on the How To, Advice & Miscellaneous Books list.
“OMG y’all! I just got a call from my publishers that Y’ALL EAT YET? Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin’ Kitchen is No. 3 on the New York Times Best Selling list,” Lambert shared excitedly with fans. “I can’t actually believe that. I’m so grateful and just – I can’t believe it. It’s for my Nonny in Heaven. She’s partying tonight; I know it. And I’m just beside myself that people would want to hear our stories and join our sisterhood. This is crazy. So, thanks to everybody who bought it and who is reading it. I love y’all – welcome to the tribe!”
