Carrie Underwood To Release Live Concert DVD

Seven-time GRAMMY winner Carrie Underwood is set to release her first gospel LIVE performance DVD, My Savior: LIVE From The Ryman, on July 23.

Filmed at the Ryman Auditorium, the concert DVD finds Underwood performing song such as “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Because He Lives,” and “Victory In Jesus.”  

“This is an album I have always wanted to record and I’m thrilled to be able to bring these uplifting, inspirational songs to life in this special way,” Underwood shares of her critically acclaimed My Savior project. 

The DVD includes guests such as CeCe Winans on the hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” Bear Rinehart on “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus” and legends Buddy Greene and Mac McAnally.

A TV special, featuring performances from the DVD, will also air on July 23 on PBS, DIRECTV, DISH TV, Circle TV, TBN, RFD-TV and more. Canadian channels The Miracle Channel, Vision TV, Hope TV and CTS will also air the special. Beginning on July 23, GAITHERTV will also air the live performance for a limited time.

My Savior: LIVE From The Ryman was originally filmed at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on Easter Sunday and raised over $112,000 for Save the Children.
