The moment Chris Janson first laid eyes on Kelly Lynn, he knew she would be his wife one day. He called it the second he saw her. Little did he know, his intuition was correct.

While working to build his music career playing shows in Nashville and around the Southeast, Janson began to cross paths with Kelly on a regular basis. When he found out she worked at a record label in town, he promptly booked a meeting with her to pitch some of his songs.

After that meeting, Janson invited her over to his cabin for a songwriting session. That’s when they fell in love, right there on his porch swing.

Janson married Kelly Lynn on July 4, 2010 and he’s never looked back.

Kelly Lynn remains by Janson’s side at home and on the road. In addition to being a loving wife, she is also Janson’s manager.

“I’ve had other people come to me and ask me if I would manage them,” she tells People.  “The answer is no. I only will do it for my husband because I truly believe in his talent so much. I’ll do whatever I can to show the world that he’s a superstar.”

As Janson’s career continues to flourish, family continues to be the most important thing to Janson and Kelly Lynn, who are parents to Georgia and Jesse. She is also mom to two adult children from a previous marriage.

“I didn’t know what life was about until I got married and walked into a house that was already a home with kids in it — my bonus kids,” Janson shares at the beginning of his “Holdin’ Her” music video. “And then, shortly thereafter, God blessed me with two more babies, and for whatever reason, I became the luckiest man alive.”
