Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren Bushnell, have some “Big, Big Plans” for 2021: welcoming their first child into the world.
After announcing Bushnell’s pregnancy over the weekend, Lane spoke with RADIO.COM’s Kelly Ford about the exciting news and the silver lining it’s brought to 2020.
“We’ve been trying for a while. So, we’re very, very excited,” he said. “It almost doesn’t feel real, but here we are…[2020’s] given us a chance to kind of concentrate on this and not be exhausted from the road and all that kind of stuff… Hell yeah, it gave is a chance to really try and Hallelujah, thank the Lord it worked out.”
Prior to revealing the baby news to his fans, Lane shared the news with his parents, who are over the moon with the idea of adding another grandchild to their family.
“My parents are obviously very happy. They already have one grandbaby, who is nine-years-old, that my twin brother had,” he explained.
As for the gender, Chris and Lauren definitely plan to find out if they’re expecting a boy or a girl ahead of the baby’s arrival.
“We’re gonna find out (the gender). We don’t have too much longer,” he revealed. “My mom, she’s hoping for a girl; I’m secretly hoping for a boy; I think my wife wants a girl.”
Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell began dating in 2018 and tied the knot on October 25, 2019.
