RaeLynn is putting her love for the holiday season on full display with the release of her MERRY CHRISTMAS two-pack.
Out now, the collection showcases the country star’s personality with two holiday tracks: the boozy original, “Jingle Bell Drunk,” and the timeless Christmas classic, “Silent Night.”
RaeLynn co-wrote “Jingle Bell Drunk” alongside Corey Crowder, Ernest Keith Smith, and Rocky Block and hopes it will bring a smile to fans’ faces throughout the holiday season.
“What I love about this MERRY CHRISTMAS two-pack is that it’s a little bit naughty, and a little bit nice. ‘Jingle Bell Drunk’ is a funny song because it talks about the dysfunction you have in your family. You’re going to see your brother and maybe his weird girlfriend. You’re going to see your aunt having a little too much to drink, dressed up as Mrs. Claus. The holidays are quirky and fun, and the one way to get through it is maybe by having some tequila,” she explains. “When we wrote this song, we wanted to bring out that dysfunctional side of Christmas in a funny way. It really showcases the family aspect.”
As for “Silent Night,” RaeLynn says the beloved tune has been a staple on her holiday playlist for a long as she can remember.
“‘Silent Night’ is a classic that I’ve sang in church my whole life,” she recalls. To release that song with my cousins and their band, Garrison, featuring on it meant the world to me. It brought back a lot of memories of growing up and singing with my family, especially around the holidays. There’s a warmness to family harmony, and singing a song that you’ve always sang together.”
RaeLynn, who recently made her film debut in Hallmark Channel’s A Nashville Christmas Carol, recently completed the Country Now two-pack interview and revealed some of her favorite Christmas memories, most memorable gifts and more. Check it out below.

Raelynn’s MERRY CHRISTMAS Two-Pack Interview:
Two Christmas Memories:
Singing around the piano with my family, and as I’ve gotten older I love that we do matching PJs. It’s just so classic and fun.
Two Holiday Drinks:
Hot chocolate. I drink sugar-free hot chocolate, but I love it. And hot apple cider, with maybe a pinch of some kind of alcohol – haha!
Two Most Memorable Gifts:
I’ll never forget when I got my life-size barbie doll when I was like three years old. I was so pumped because it was the size of me. I was like WHOA – this is so cool. I think they still make them, but that was the first year they came out. I remember getting my red truck close to Christmas, which was an awesome gift. My dad said, “this is your gift for a WHILE.”
Two Christmas Traditions:
I love drawing names with family for gifts. Rather than getting everybody a bunch of small gifts, we can be really intentional about our one gift and I love that. Another Christmas tradition with my husband Josh’s family that I love is their big Christmas Eve dinner. It’s so much fun because everyone wears matching PJs, we eat dinner and then we open a few gifts. The guys cook Christmas Eve dinner and the girls do breakfast the next day. It’s so fun to see all the guys cooking.
Two Christmas Movies:
Four Christmases and The Grinch!
Two Traditional Christmas Songs:
“Silent Night,” not only because I sang it on my MERRY CHRISTMAS EP, but I’ve always loved it. Another one would be “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.” I know it’s kind of campy, but it’s one of my favorites.
Two New Christmas Songs:
“Christmas Eve” by Justin Bieber is kind of vibey, kind of sexy and so good. Another one I love is “Santa’s Coming For Us” by Sia.
Two Best Holiday Foods:
I love the Ghirardelli peppermint chocolate. I almost bought some at Target yesterday. I’m also a sucker for any kind of side, like stuffing or corn casserole. Just give it to me, all of it.
Two Worst Holiday Foods:
I hate the canned cranberry sauce and the Jell-O fruit pudding (that’s not made with fresh fruit).
Two Go-To Christmas Albums:
MERRY CHRISTMAS by Mariah Carey and UNDER THE MISTLETOE by Justin Bieber.
