Chris Lane took to social media on Wednesday, July 19 to share the tremendous amount of pride he feels for his wife and her generosity towards others.
In the clip, the country artist explained that he witnessed his other half clearing Amazon wishlists for several teachers ahead of the upcoming school year.
“My wife’s going to murder me for making this video because she never wants any acknowledgment ever, but I want to give some,” Lane began. “Last night I jumped into bed and was just looking over her shoulder, and I saw her clearing Amazon wishlist for tons of teachers, and I just found that to be the sweetest thing in the entire world.”
“A Proud Husband Moment”
Seeing her take initiative on this kind act left him having what he called “a proud husband moment” and because of that, he said he “wanted the world to know how lucky I am! 🙏🏻”
He continued, “And I’m not surprised because I feel like she’s constantly always trying to help somebody. Just has the sweetest soul, sweetest heart, and I just feel like the luckiest man in the world that I was able to Mary such a sweet soul. And I wanted y’all to know.”
Lauren appeared in the comment section to share her response to his kind words. She wrote, “😩😩😩😩😩 me texting you to bring me wallet so I could do more but still be in bed 😂 love you so much this made me cry 💔💔💔💔”
Several users also praised Lauren for helping relieve some of the stress for teachers and a few even left more personal notes in the comments, admitting how much it means to them to have their list cleared.
“She cleared my list and I couldn’t be more grateful for her ❤️,” one user wrote while another said, “I was one of those teachers and I’ve already received items from you guys! You and @laurenlane are the best!!! 🤍🤍”
“She cleared my list! It means more to me and my sweet second graders than she probably realizes. She truly has the best heart! 🤍” another user gushed with gratitude.
Giving Back
Lane and his wife are often seen giving back to their community in various ways. In March, the parents of two gave fans the chance to buy clothes straight from their personal closets through Poshmark. In doing so, they donated all the proceeds to Wags and Walks, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a dedicated community of dog lovers working to reduce euthanasia in local shelters and increase awareness of rescue dogs being wonderful pets.
“I’m really excited because it’s such a great way to raise money for the doggies,” Lauren wrote on Instagram at the time.
In addition, they decided to match the amount they made from their Poshmark closets and give it to the Nashville Covenant School Shooting Fund following the tragedy that occurred at the private Christian school in Nashville earlier this year.

Chris Lane’s Return To The Road
Chris Lane and Lauren Lane have kept themselves busy this year with their various charitable efforts, along with raising their two young boys, Baker Weston and Dutton. The “Big, Big Plans” singer took some time off from touring to focus on his responsibilities at home, however, as things began to settle down in their household, Lane returned to the road.
He was tapped for a series of opening slots on tours with country music hitmakers like Kane Brown, Walker Hayes and Jordan Davis, as well as several fairs and festivals throughout the summer.
Chris Lane’s next performance is scheduled to take place on July 22 at Kingsport Fun Fest in Kingsport, TN.
