Chris Stapleton Reschedules Three All-American Road Show Stops As He Battles The Flu
“We appreciate your patience and understanding,” Stapleton wrote to fans.

Chris Stapleton is taking some time to recover after coming down with the flu, forcing him to postpone three upcoming shows on his All-American Road Show.
Stapleton announced the news to fans less than 24 hours before he was set to take the stage in Lincoln, Nebraska on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The country superstar apologized to those who had already made plans to attend this week’s concerts in Lincoln, NE, and Kansas City, MO.
“To all my friends in Lincoln and Kansas City, I am very sorry to let you know that l am battling the flu and am unable to perform this week’s shows,” he began in his statement.

Along with his originally scheduled show in Nebraska tonight, the Kentucky native was also set to take the stage in Kansas City for back-to-back performances on Oct. 9 and 10. The Kansas City shows have now been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, and Thursday, Oct. 15, while Stapleton will return to Nebraska for his rescheduled performance on Monday, Oct. 26.
Stapleton thanked fans for their patience and understanding as prioritizes his health, ensuring he can come back stronger and deliver a show that fans deserve.
“I want to sincerely thank everyone who made plans to attend, and apologize for this inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
All tickets for the original dates will be honored at the rescheduled performances. Fans who are unable to attend their new date can contact their original point of purchase for a refund by Oct. 13.
At the start of 2026, the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer announced that he had extended his All-American Road Show, adding 20 new dates to the tour. The newly announced run has brought Stapleton to several major stadiums, including Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and Detroit’s Ford Field, with very special guest Lainey Wilson.
The trek also included stops at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium and Boston’s Fenway Park, where Zach Top joined as a special guest, among many other cities.
Additional dates featured support from Allen Stone, Ashley McBryde, Carter Faith, Grace Potter, Maggie Rose, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Molly Tuttle, Nikki Lane, and The Teskey Brothers.

Stapleton’s Kansas City shows were originally set to be the final dates of his tour, but with the Lincoln concert now pushed to the end of October, he’ll officially wrap up the run with Nebraska fans on Oct. 26.
Even though the year is slowing down for Stapleton, he still has plenty to look forward to, including the 60th annual CMA Awards, where he is nominated for four awards. He is vying for a win in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year (“A Song To Sing”), Music Video of the Year (“White Horse”)
Fans will have to tune into the star-studded night when it is broadcasted live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, Nov. 18 (8:00 – 11:00 PM/EST) on ABC, Disney+ and next day on Hulu.
