Country hitmakers Chris Young and Lauren Alaina take fans behind the scenes of their new duet, “Town Ain’t Big Enough” in a new video just released to YouTube.

In the black-and-white clip, Young and Alaina share some laughs and take a few selfies while laying down vocal tracks for their new breakup anthem.

The song, which was co-written by Young with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Dan+ Shay’s Shay Mooney, will be featured on Young’s forthcoming album, Raised On Country.

With a relateable storyline, about a couple who breaks up and continues to cross paths in their small town, “Town Ain’t Big Enough” became an instant fan-favorite upon its release.

The song is one that many people, including Young, feel a connection to.

“I’ve been through plenty of breakups,” Young shared with Entertainment Tonight of the inspiration behind the song. “It’s that feeling of not just you, but OK, my friends run into your friends and I have to hear about it too. It could be a town with two stop lights or it could be Atlanta. It’s just one of those things where there’s that much love and that many feelings pinned up… it’s just tough.”

Complete details surrounding Young’s Raised On Country album have yet to be released. He previously teased his excitement over the project, gushing to Country Now and other reporters, “I think top to bottom, I think it’s my favorite album as a whole.”

Fans can catch Young on his headlining Raised On Country Tour throughout the fall.
