After signing a new record deal with Toby Keith’s imprint Show Dog Nashville, country hitmaker Clay Walker is ready to make a triumphant return to country radio with his brand new single, “Need a Bar Sometimes.

Co-written by Walker with Jaron Boyer, Josh Mirenda and George Birge, “Need a Bar Sometimes” blends Walker’s traditional country roots with somewhat modern production, creating a fresh new sound that fits well within his wheelhouse. Lyrically, the track is one many can relate to as Walker croons about the reasons everyone may need to unwind with a cold one.

“We all need a bar sometimes/ Lean back with a long neck on a neon night/ Somewhere you can sip and unwind/ Or hang out with the party crowd till closing time/ You might be drowning her leaving/ Or just here drinking/ But we all need a bar sometimes,” he sings on the chorus.

Clay Walker is currently working on his 12th studio album and first with Show Dog Nashville.
