Conner Smith And Wife Leah Thompson Smith Are Expecting Their First Child

Conner Smith and his wife, Leah Thompson Smith, are officially stepping into a new chapter as first-time parents.
The couple announced on Thursday, June 18, that they are expecting their first child, sharing the news in a joint Instagram post set against a serene, rustic farm backdrop.
In the photos, the mom-to-be can be seen wearing green rain boots, micro shorts, and a blue button-down shirt left unbuttoned just enough to show off her baby bump. The country singer/songwriter keeps things casual in denim pants, a white long-sleeve shirt, and boots, as he stands beside his wife with one hand resting on her bump and the other holding ultrasound images.
“Couldn’t keep this secret any longer! Baby Smith on the way…We truly couldn’t feel more blessed,” the wrote in the caption.
Smith also expressed his gratitude, adding, “Thank you Jesus” in the comment section, where love and support poured in to celebrate the news.
Dylan Marlowe, one of Smith’s close friends and fellow country acts who is already a dad to his own twin boys, wrote, “I CANT WAIT TO BE AN UNCLE!!!”
The “Match For Your Memory” singer got down on one knee and proposed to Leah, his girlfriend at the time, back on September 26 of 2023. Smith made the moment both romantic and sentimental as he strategically chose that date to pop the question as it would have been Thompson’s grandmother’s 90th birthday.
Adding to the already moving moment, he knelt down on one knee and presented Thompson with her grandmother’s diamond ring. Smith then serenaded his future bride with a heartfelt original song penned specifically for her.
“Even before she was my girlfriend, I knew I would marry Leah Grace one day if she ever let me …,” the singer wrote in the caption. “Leah Thompson, Thank you for trusting me with your heart.”
The pair tied the knot the following year on Sunday, April 14. The two said “I Do” in a small chapel and then celebrated with friends and family into the night.
“Mr & Mrs Smith // 4/12/24 💍,” the newlyweds wrote in the caption alongside a gallery of photos from their big day.
With their first child on the way, Conner and Leah are now preparing to begin an exciting new chapter as a couple.
