Zach John King may have a growing catalog of chart-climbing songs, but there’s another thing audiences have come to expect whenever he takes the stage: a pair of bib overalls.
Just after performing at Nissan Stadium for CMA Fest 2026, the rising star joined Country Now backstage, where he revealed that he has compiled a collection of roughly 15 pairs of bibs that he rotates in his wardrobe night after night.
“It grows every day. I feel like I would reckon 15 pairs,” he shared before admitting that is understandably less than one would expect due to the fact that they have become a signature part of his style.
“If I put on a new t-shirt and a new hat, you can tell that it’s the same bib,” King joked.

The Georgia native revealed that he originally began wearing the bibs as a way to set himself apart from his fellow country music acts.
“You got to stamp it because…sometimes I’ll wear jeans and a t-shirt up there, but if I do that, I kind of look like every other country artist,” he explained. “Jelly’s got the tats. Riley’s got the duck call and obviously the good jeans. Ella’s got the bangs and maybe I have the bibs.”
Additionally, Zach John King has stated in multiple social media posts that there is a sentimental reason behind the bibs, as he notes he wears them in honor of his late uncle Joe.
“He’s gone but I carry on the legacy,” he wrote.

Fans will have the chance to see King bring his signature look to the stage throughout his recently announced “Get To Drinkin’ Tour.” Serving as his first-ever headline tour, the run will kick off in Indianapolis, IN on Oct. 1and continue through November.
Within the first week of the announce, the tour already sold out six dates, leading King to add a second date in Nashville.
“I’m so excited. We’ve been playing so many incredible shows, so many support slots that I love, but you get that feeling at the end of it, you’re like, ‘my people are out here somewhere and I just want them in a room.’ So I’m so excited. We’re so stoked. The show is going to be amazing. I mean, we’re going to play long sets,” he teased.
“All my people are going to be there and I really am excited to start, because I’m never headlined…to start seeing what the response is, seeing what songs people really pick up and love and what they don’t. I want to see it all, so I can’t wait.”
Along with his own tour, the “Backwoods” singer is also on the road with Morgan Wallen for Wallen’s “Still The Problem Tour” this summer and will also be joining Luke Bryan, Riley Green, and Thomas Rhett this year.
