Country Campout Weekend, the Lifestyle Event & Music Festival in Chino, CA, has postponed this weekend’s festivities due to the threat of upcoming weather. The event was originally scheduled to take place from November 1-3, 2024 with country superstar Chris Young set to headline the one-day country music festival on November 2.
In a new post on the festival’s official Instagram page, the team expressed their sincere apologies to the concert goers who were eager to enjoy a weekend among camping, fun activities and good music at the Prado Regional Park.
“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of this year’s event. This decision was incredibly difficult, but with the upcoming weather forecast, and after careful discussions with San Bernardino County and our performing artists, we know it’s the safest choice for everyone involved.”
While this news is disheartening for all, the festival has assured fans that they are working to reschedule the event at a time when artists, staff and attendees can safely enjoy the three-day festival.
“We know how much this weekend means to all of us—the camping under the stars, the outdoor adventures, and the unforgettable music—and we’re committed to delivering the full experience you expect and deserve. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these changes.”
Ticketholders should “stay tuned for more details and new dates.” More information will be provided directly to campers who had already secured their passes for the weekend.
Chris Young also took to his Instagram story to help spread the word to share his disappointment as he too was excited about getting on stage on Saturday, Nov. 2 and singing along with the fans.
“Hey everybody, I was really looking forward to hanging out with everyone at Country Camp Out this weekend, but the festival made their decision to not have the festival play based on weather. I really hope to see everyone out in the Chino area again soon!”
Upon arrival, campers were invited to a kick things off on Friday, Nov. 1 with open fishing, pedal boats on the lake, arts & crafts, line dancing, axe throwing and more. That night, attendees could also watch a movie under the stars, take part in a campfire social and enjoy performances by Redneck Rodeo, Sean Oliu, Sammy Listoe and JT Harker.
The following day was scheduled to begin with fishing at 6:30am followed by a slew of activities, all leading up to the concert headlined by Young. In addition to the “Looking For You” singer, rising stars such as Tyler Braden, Daniel Bonte, Kylie Trout and Coffey Anderson were also set to perform.
Before checking out on Sunday, campers would have had the option to start their day with lakeside yoga, grab some breakfast at the Festival Village and enjoy an acoustic performance.
All the music, line dancing, food vendors, cocktails, mechanical bull rides and more will return at a later date. Any future updates will be shared across Country Campout Weekend’s official social media pages.
