Toby Keith has added a third and final Las Vegas concert to his 2023 schedule with the announcement of an additional headlining show at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Thursday, December 14.
This newly added Las Vegas concert comes after the lauded singer/songwriter sold out back-to-back shows at the venue in just two minutes. According to a press release, Keith’s two-night run is one of the fastest-selling in Dolby Live at Park MGM’s history.
Due to the overwhelming demand from fans, the “I Love This Bar” singer added the third show and promised no further shows would be added.
Two Shows Sold Out In Two Minutes
The 62-year-old took to his social media channels to share a video announcing the newly added date with fans.
“Hello Buckaroos. It’s Toby Keith. Had a big old day Friday. We completely sold out the two shows we announced in Vegas. Coming up in December in response to these shows has got me all fired up,” he said. ”Well, Warriors. That being said, we’re going to do one last show in Vegas, December 14th…I’m fired up for these three shows and clearly you are too. Can’t wait to see you there. Let’s go.”
How To Get Toby Keith Tickets
Tickets for the final show of Keith’s Las Vegas headlining stint go on sale on Friday, November at 10 AM local time at TobyKeith.com.
Keith’s trio of Sin City concerts coincide with the National Finals Rodeo, which is set to take place in Las Vegas from Thursday, Dec. 7 through Sat. Dec. 16.
In a previous video announcing his highly anticipated return to the stage, the artist shared, “I was going to sit around here and do nothing like I have been, or get up and go outside and don’t let the old man in. You know what I mean?”
The Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee added, “So come out, catch a rodeo. December 10th and 11th. Be my first two shows, they’re kind of rehab shows. Get the band back in sync. Get me rolling again.”
“Don’t Let The Old Man In”
Toby Keith recently received the Country Icon Award at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards, where he also performed “Don’t Let The Old Man In.”
Most-Added At Country Radio
His performance of the tune prompted his return to Country radio. “Don’t Let The Old Man In” impacted radio airwaves on October 30 in partnership with BMLG Records and made a major impact with over 56 adds.
The song topped Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales chart for two consecutive weeks. Additionally, the poignant tune placed in the Top 3 on the all-genre sales chart and claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Country Songs and Videos charts.
According to country radio insider Chris Owen, the track was originally released to country radio in December of 2018. In January 2019, the song peaked at No.41 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and at No.52 on the Mediabase chart.
“Don’t Let The Old Man In” was written solely by Toby Keith in 2018.
The BMI Icon Award recipient has spent more time away from the stage than ever before in recent years. His battle with stomach cancer put his touring plans on the sidelines, but now, he’s back and ready to rock.
“First time in my whole life, I’ve been off [for] over two years. I’ve never been off a year in my life. And through Covid and Cancer Old Devil’s been after me a little bit. I got him by the horns right now. So instead of just sitting around and waiting, we’re going to get the band back together,” he previously said. “So come on out, hang out the rodeo, watch the shows. We’re going to have a blast. Get it all going again. Big Dawg Daddy style. Should have been a cowboy! Go to the rodeo.”
New Project Coming Soon
Additionally, Toby Keith is gearing up to release his new album, 100% Songwriter, on November 3. The 13-track collection celebrates Keith’s most legendary solo-written songs, all assembled into one collection.
Among the track list is Keith’s breakout hit, “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” which was just certified triple platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Released in 1993, the song marked the beginning of a wildly successful career for the Oklahoma native, which went on to include 52 top 10 hits, 32 No. 1s, more than 40 million albums sold, 100 million airplay performances (BMI) and more than 10 billion streams.
Other notable tracks included on 100% Songwriter include fan-favorites such as “He Ain’t Worth Missin’,” “Wish I Didn’t Know Now,” and “Big Ol’ Truck.”
