Toby Keith wears many hats but the one that means the most to him is songwriter. He will soon celebrate that title with the release of a new project, dubbed 100% Songwriter, on November 3.

The project, releasing via Nashville/UMe on vinyl and via DSPs, celebrates Keith’s most legendary solo-written songs, all assembled into one collection.

A Legendary Songwriter

Toby Keith stands as one of the most accomplished self-guided recording artists in any era, having achieved numerous hits with a diverse range of co-writers, while also recording a select few songs crafted by outside writers.

What truly stands out is the remarkable number of his iconic tracks that he penned single-handedly, placing him in the same league as performing songwriters like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton.

13-Song Track List

Among the track list is Keith’s breakout hit, “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,”  which was just certified triple platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Released in 1993, the song marked the beginning of a wildly successful career for the Oklahoma native, which went on to include 52 top 10 hits, 32 No. 1s, more than 40 million albums sold, 100 million airplay performances (BMI) and more than 10 billion streams.

Other notable tracks included on 100% Songwriter include fan-favorites such as “He Ain’t Worth Missin’,” Wish I Didn’t Know Now,” and “Big Ol’ Truck.”

Pre-orders for Toby Keith’s 100% Songwriter, which spans from his debut album through 2006’s White Trash With Money, are now available at TobyKeith.lnk.to/songwriter. Fans can choose from three vinyl options.
