Country music legend Travis Tritt continues to battle pneumonia and has been forced to reschedule and/or cancel a number of upcoming appearances as he focuses on his recovery.

First, the “Help Me Hold On” singer had to reschedule two shows with his daughter, Tyler Reese Tritt, opening. The Macon, Georgia, show has been moved to April 22, 2027, while the Charleston, South Carolina, show will now take place on November 14, 2026.

At the time, Tritt, 63, opened up about his diagnosis and explained that he had unknowingly been dealing with pneumonia for weeks.

“I’m sorry to report that I was diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this week. Turns out that the pneumonia was actually present for the past 2 weeks, but I didn’t know it, because I’ve never had it before. I just knew I felt a bit weak and sluggish.”

Now, Tritt has shared another unfortunate update with fans as he continues to recover.

“As Travis Tritt continues to recover from pneumonia, he will unfortunately be unable to perform at the Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, this weekend,” the new statement reads.

Tritt was scheduled to perform at the festival alongside artists like Lainey Wilson, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley, Russell Dickerson, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert and more.

“In addition, Travis’s show in Richmond, Virginia, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 3, has been moved to Thursday, November 12. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored for the new date.”

While fans will have to wait a little longer to see Tritt back on stage, the rescheduled dates will allow him additional time to recover before returning to his busy performance schedule.

Many fans took to the comments section of his recent post to send him well wishes.

“Rest and feel better. Maybe the body is saying slow down just a little bit, you gotta have rest,” one user wrote.

Another shared, “I’ll be missing you back to back. I had tickets last weekend and this weekend for Country Calling. But it’s ok as long as you get better. Pneumonia ain’t no joke. Your lungs being healthy is the most important thing. Catch you next go around and praying you recover completely.”

According to his official website, his next scheduled tour date is set for Sunday, October 4 in Erie, PA at Warner Theatre.

He has a slew of shows scheduled throughout October and is currently set to wrap up his touring for the year in mid-November.
