The Country Music Top 25

Rankings are fun. They give people something to talk about and leisurely debate over. No ranking is more evident of that than the college football top 25 that arrives each week on our phones and laptops.

Country music doesn’t have such a ranking system, so today will be the first! I present to you the Country Music Top 25.

These rankings are based on songs, streams, sales, albums, singles, hype, pretty smiles, TV appearances, great tweets, award nominations, ticket sales and even news-making headlines like deleting your social media because you’re pissed at the system (shout-out to Kane Brown).

This is a fluid list that changes week to week and is only based upon THIS WEEK. Here’s the first-ever Country Music Top 25.

1. Luke Combs – This guy can do no wrong right now. There is no hotter name in country.

2. Luke Bryan – He’s still all-around the biggest, most marketable, consistent star.

3. Carrie Underwood – She’s hosting the CMAs again. Also, football is back and so is she.

4. Dan + Shay – If not for Luke Combs, these guys would be the biggest story right now.

5. Maren Morris – She got six CMA noms and another recent number 1.

6. Eric Church – He could finally get that much deserved EOTY trophy this year.

7. Kane Brown – He’s low-key selling out big shows and posting GIFs of frustration.

10. Miranda Lambert – She’s got a strong push into the top 10 after being away for a while.
