A handful of country music’s cutest couple’s graced the red (pink) carpet to celebrate the return of the CMT Music Awards on Monday, (April 11) evening. Among them were Kane Brown and his beautiful wife, Katelyn, who matched her husband in a purple-colored ensemble. Brown has a big night heading into the awards show. He is not only nominated in four categories, but he also will take on co-hosting duties – a last-minute decision after Kelsea Ballerini tested positive for COVID-19.

Also dressed in their red-carpet best was Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, who sported blue for the memorable affair. Meanwhile, Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins looked like perfection for the month of April, rocking pastel colors and seemingly leaving the kids with a babysitter for a red carpet date night.

Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis Gale also stepped out to fashionably showcase their love for one another, with Allen planting a kiss on his wife’s hand. Elsewhere on the carpet were Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Font and her husband Jonah Font, Eric Decker, and Jessie James Decker.

From Jason Aldean and Brittany Aldean to Craig Morgan and Karen Greer to newcomers like Kat Luna and Alex Garrido and Caitlyn Smith and Rollie Gaalswyk, it’s no question that love is in the air at Country Music’s Biggest Party and the excitement is overflowing. Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd also dazzled the carpet with Morris looking like a beautiful mermaid in a long red skirt. Later in the evening, the pair will take the stage to deliver their hit, “Chasing After You.”

Other collaborations throughout the evening include Aldean and Bryan Adams, Allen with Monica and Little Big Town, Mickey Guyton and Black Pumas, Rhett and Riley Green, and Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson. The Judds will also join forces for their first televised performance in over two decades.

Walker Hayes, Cody Johnson, Lambert, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce will also take the stage with emerging artists Priscilla Block, BRELAND, James Decker, Parker McCollum, Elvie Shane, and Smith performing from the Ram Trucks Side Stage.

Presenters for the evening include Faith Hill, Isabel May, Allen, Gabby Barrett, Rob Corddry, Jordan Davis, Billy F. Gibbons, Gayle King, Taylor Lautner, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Joel McHale, Kacey Musgraves, Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France + Antoni Porowski, LeAnn Rimes, Dylan Scott, and Dennis Quaid.

The 2022 CMT Music Awards will air live on Monday (April 11) on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET. The show is also available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
