Craig Morgan recently announced plans to release a powerful memoir with Blackstone Publishing.
The book, GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY: Soldier, Singer, Husband, Dad—There’s a Whole Lot More to Me, will give fans a deeper understanding of Morgan’s life as a family man, singer, TV personality, and Army veteran. In the memoir, Morgan will share things that many fans don’t know – like how he worked alongside the CIA as a soldier in Panama, or fought sex traffickers as an undercover agent in Thailand.
GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY: Soldier, Singer, Husband, Dad—There’s a Whole Lot More to Me will be released as a hardcover, ebook, and audiobook on September 27, 2022. It is available for pre-order now.
In God, Family, Country Morgan will reflect back on monumental moments in his life; Such as the time his father’s band brought him out on stage when he was ten years old and how he believes that was a turning point in his future music career. He’s also reflect on how he dedicated over nine years of his life to the military before ultimately leaving active duty to pursue a career in music.
With ample support from his wife, Morgan worked as hard as he could to make it happen for him. The release of his single, “Almost Home,” was the first of many hits for Morgan – “Redneck Yacht Club” and “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” just to name a couple.
“The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” was written from the heart due to the passing of his son, Jerry. This song helped and inspired millions of people dealing with loss across the world.
While he is best known for his hit songs, Craig Morgan can also be seen on the new CBS TV series, Beyond The Edge, which premiered on March 16th. He will be competing for Operation Finally Home, an organization that provides wounded veterans and their families with customized and mortgage-free homes.
