Craig Wayne Boyd, season seven champion of The Voice, and his wife Taylor Borland welcomed a baby boy on Thursday (Jan. 2).

Boyd first indicated that his fourth child (his third with Borland) was about to make his debut on Instagram by sharing a photo of himself in a surgical mask. “That’s when you know it’s about to go down,” he wrote.

Hours later, the singer shared the first photo of his son along with an official birth announcement.

“On 01/02/2020 at 6:20 cst, 6lbs 10oz, Boston James Boyd made us a family of six and we couldn’t be more excited,” he excitedly shared.

Boston James joins siblings Graydon Scott, 2, Dakota Lynne, 4, and Boyd’s son from a previous relationship, Jaxon, 7.

The couple returned home with their newest arrival on Sunday (Jan. 5). Boyd marked the occasion with another Instagram post, writing, “Finally home where he belongs!”

Craig Wayne Boyd and his wife, who have been married since April 2016, first shared the news of their new addition with People late last summer. The family celebrated the announcement with a music-themed photo shoot, portraying the family as a band. “New band member coming soon,” a text overlay on the photo read.

Congratulations to the Boyd family!
