Multi-Platinum country icon Darius Rucker is set to host his 12th annual “Darius and Friends” benefit concert for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Rucker’s event has been a huge success over the years, raising over $2 million thus far. The singer didn’t allow the pandemic to halt his fundraising efforts, as the event was held virtually in 2020. This year, fans have the option of attending in person or tuning in from home with the new hybrid concert model.

Philanthropic work has always been a priority for the country artist. In 2008, he made a commitment to support St. Jude’s Finding cures mission and has been an avid Saving children.® Supporter since. Advocates like Rucker make it possible for families to never worry about paying bills from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.

“The incredible work being done at St. Jude really made an impact on me when I had a chance to visit and hear the patients’ stories,” Rucker shared. “They are some of the bravest people I’ve ever met and being able to support them with this event is always a highlight of my year. I’m so glad we’ll be back to performing in front of a full house at the Ryman for such a great cause!”

Previous “Darius and Friends” concerts have featured performances by Lauren Alaina, Brooks & Dunn, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Randy Houser, Ashley McBryde, A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys, Brad Paisley, Kenny Rogers, Brett Young and many others.

Sponsors that have made the event possible include PGA TOUR, CDW, Hendrix Enterprises, UMG, CAA, A. O. Smith, AMD, Arrow and Intel.

Tickets for the 12th annual “Darius and Friends” concert are available now.
