Singer, songwriter and actor Kevin Costner is bringing his Yellowstone-inspired music to the stage with his band, Modern West.
Since 2007, Costner has been touring with his band and in 2018, he also began playing the character John Dutton on the hit Paramount TV series, Yellowstone.
Beginning in the fall of 2021, the show will return for its fourth season, but before that, Kevin Costner & Modern West will head out on the road on the Tales From Yellowstone 2021 Tour.
“The band and I are so excited to be playing the #TalesFromYellowstone album live,” Costner said in an Instagram post.

The band will feature tracks from their 2020 album, Tales From Yellowstone, within their tour setlist. The timing for this tour goes hand in hand with the fourth season of the modern-day Western TV series. The music Costner wrote for the band’s album was even inspired by the show and its characters.
“This project was really special to me and the band – a chance to get into the mind of John Dutton, my character on ‘Yellowstone,’ and express his emotions musically,” Costner also shared on social media.
The tour will kick off on August 24 at Heritage Hall in Ardmore, OK and continue into September, with a total of eight live dates. Then in November, right as the tour comes to an end, Costner will go from being heard live on stage to being seen on the screen, as the new season of the dramatic, action-packed show begins.
A glimpse of the upcoming fourth season was released earlier this month by the Paramount Network. This teaser, which promises to be “worth the wait,” can be seen above.
The finale of season three left 5.2 million viewers on the edge of their seats. Finally, fans of the show will be able to find out what the Duttons have been up to. In preparation, seasons one, two and three can be watched via NBC’s streaming app, Peacock.
In the fall, fans can tune in to the Paramount Network to see Costner joined by Jacki Weaver, Piper Perabo, Kathryn Kelly and more on the latest season of Yellowstone.
