Superstar Darius Rucker has been hinting that he’s is back in the studio working on his first new solo album since his 2017’s When Was The Last Time, and with new music expected to arrive soon, Rucker is heading out on tour.

The three-time GRAMMY Award winner’s upcoming tour, Darius Rucker Live, is set to kick off on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Philadelphia.

The singer will perform in iconic venues in 12 cities across the country, including Boston, New York, Chicago and more.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will make stops in classic theatres, creating an intimate setting for fans to enjoy Rucker’s live show. Up and coming Capitol Nashville artist Caylee Hammack will be joining Rucker on all dates.

“It’s been a dream of mine for a while to bring our show to these beautiful theaters,” shared Rucker. “Some of my favorite venue memories over the years are at places like the Apollo in New York or the Royal Albert Hall in London, as it’s just a different experience when you’re that close. With Hootie, we went straight from playing dive bars to arenas, so there are still a lot of theatres I’ve never had the opportunity to play. I’ll just say that this tour will have a lot of firsts, even for me.”

Tickets will be available to purchase on Tuesday, November 2 for Citi cardmembers at 12 p.m. local time. For more details on the presale, click here. The general public will be able to get tickets beginning on Friday, November 5 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster

To get fans excited for his upcoming tour, Rucker will take the stage on ABC’s Good Morning America this Friday, November 5 to perform his newest single “My Masterpiece,” written by Rucker, Josh Osborne, J.T. Harding and Ross Copperman.

“One of the most common questions I got asked last year was if I had picked up a new hobby during [2020],” Rucker explained. “I always answered that I was trying to learn piano, and someone asked if I was any good yet. J.T. Harding heard my response in that interview – ‘I can’t play piano like Ray Charles’ – and knew we had to write a song around that line.”

“My Masterpiece” will be featured on the singer’s album, set to drop next year. In addition to new music and tour dates, Rucker has also collaborated with NFL for the NFL x Darius Rucker Collection by Fanatics to create a variety of tees, outerwear, fleeces and more for all NFL teams. Inspired by the “If I Told You” singer’s love of music and football, the line will launch later this month.
