Darius Rucker is hitting the road once again!

The three-time GRAMMY winner recently announced the Starting Fires Tour for the summer of 2023. Kicking off on June 15 in Virginia, the 21-date run will make stops across the U.S. and Canada in cities such as Jacksonville, Florida, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Los Angeles, California, and more. The trek will wrap up in Nashville on October 14.

Joining Rucker on the tour will be Americana band Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, with rising star Drew Green on select dates.

Tour Kicks Off On June 15

The South Carolina native shared his excitement over the tour on Instagram last week.

“Let’s do it!! Looking forward to being back on the road with @drewholcombmusic and @drewgreen this year,” he shared.

His tourmates were quick to comment. Green called touring with Rucker a “bucket list” moment, while Drew Holcomb shared, “Can’t Wait.”

New Album In The Works

The multi-time Diamond-certified star is currently in the midst of finalizing his forthcoming seventh solo album. Late last year, Rucker revealed that the project will be called Carolyn’s Boy, in honor of his late mother.

“I wanted to name the record Carolyn’s Boy because Mom never got to see any of my success,” he explained during an interview with NBC’s TODAY. “She died before any of this happened, so it’s just another homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known.”

The album is set to feature Rucker’s recent releases, including  “Same Beer Different Problem” and “Ol’ Church Hymn” (featuring Chapel Hart).” Additional new tracks will be released soon.

In addition to the Starting fires Tour and preparing his new album, the country star is gearing up for the return of Rucker’s Riverfront Revival Music Festival in his hometown of Charleston, S.C. The lineup for the 2023 festival, taking place October 7-8, is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Fans have access to purchase presale tickets now via RiverfrontRevival.com.

Later this spring Darius Rucker will reunite with his Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates for the second annual HootieFest: The Big Splash. The four-day event celebrates all things rock and will take place on the picturesque stretch of white sand beach at Moon Palace Cancún.

Set for April 26-29, the tropical destination event will feature three headlining performances on the beach by the GRAMMY Award-winning band. It will also include daily pool parties, intimate oceanfront performances from Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Edwin McCain, Lit and Cowboy Mouth, as well as a special Hootie & the Blowfish sunset show. Limited ticket/travel packages remain via HootieFest.com.
