Breakout star Dasha will have the opportunity to check another item off her bucket list when she steps onto the Grand Ole Opry stage for the first time on Saturday, June 15.
Dasha’s Opry debut will include a performance of her smash hit “Austin” and songs from her 2024 album, What Happens Now?.
“I’ve been thinking about the moment that I might get my chance to step into the Opry Circle since I came to Nashville for the first time when I was 13,” Dasha explained in a statement. “To be asked to be a small part of country music culture, where so many artists I look up to have stood, is such an honor.”

An Opry star that Dasha recently had a chance to connect with is Kelsea Ballerini, who officially became a member on April 16, 2019.
“She’s an icon. Kelsea is the sweetest person ever,” Dasha gushed during an interview with Country Now backstage before the ACM Awards. “She also has been an older sister to me, seeing her backstage at the CMT Awards and we’ve just had mutual friends for a while and so we connected over that and I don’t know, she just has such a kind heart and once again, just wants to see women around her succeeding and just wants to lift up any way she can.”
To date, the singer/songwriter has raked in over 10 billion views on TikTok and landed at No.5 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart with “Austin.” Additionally, the song earned a spot in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 11, peaking at No. 28. The song is at country radio now.
The country-pop star made headlines when she performed “Austin” in Austin, Texas at the CMT Music Awards last month, and turned heads on the red carpet at the ACM Awards just last week.
Her official “Austin” music video has already been viewed over 5 million times. The cinematic clip brings the song’s dramatic storyline to life and takes viewers on a journey through a good relationship that goes south quickly.

“There’s such a visual story in the song that it made it really easy to have this vision come to life. When we were casting the lead role, I knew I wanted someone that I already knew but that it needed to be someone who could play that drunk, messed up asshole boyfriend and jxdn was so excited to play that role,” Dasha told us.
The filming experience was quite surreal for the singer/songwriter, who made her acting debut in the clip.
“When we were filming the bathroom scenes, jxdn and I were screaming at each other and it all felt so real – like my heart was beating so fast during that because it just felt like we were in that moment,” she later recalled.
In addition to her upcoming Opry debut, Dasha is set to appear at CMA Fest, Lollapalooza, and more.
