Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole Hocking Combs, officially welcomed their first child on Father’s Day, June 19, 2022, and the country music community couldn’t be more excited for them.
On Tuesday evening (June 21), the “Doin’ This” singer and his wife introduced their son, Tex Lawrence, to the world via social media.
“Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy,” Combs shared on Instagram. ”Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”
“It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day 🥲” Nicole wrote on Instagram alongside their first family photo in the baby’s nursery. ”Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days. 🤍”
Moments after the proud new mom and dad shared their first photo as a family of three, congratulatory messages from friends, fans, and Combs’ fellow country artists flooded the comments sections.
Hailey Whitters, Charlie Worsham, Chrissy Metz, Meghan Patrick, Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Scotty McCreery, Jon Langston, Dan Smyers, Dierks Bentley, Devin Dawson, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Miranda Lambert, Chris Lane, Priscilla Block, Chuck Wicks, Stephanie Quayle, Cody Jinks, and more were among the artists who congratulated the new parents.
