Baby Combs is here! Luke Combs and his wife Nicole welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2022.

The country superstar shared the exciting news with fans via Instagram on Tuesday evening (June 21).

“Welp he decided that Fathers Day would be a good time to show up. I couldn’t agree more. Me and @nicolejcombs are over the moon in love with this little guy,” he wrote alongside their first family photo in the baby’s nursery. “Mama and baby are healthy and we’re back home now with family. Life is good. Everyone welcome Tex Lawrence Combs to the world!”

New mom Nicole also introduced little Tex Lawrence to her followers.

“It’s going to be hard to top this past Father’s Day,” she shared. “Welcome to the world, Tex Lawrence Combs. You are the best chillest angel boy and I’m so happy I was chosen to be your mom. These are the days 🤍”

Fans and fellow country artists flooded the post with congratulatory messages.

Luke and Nicole recently celebrated their son with a Cutie-themed baby shower, hosted by Nicole’s sister, Jenna.

The stunning soiree featured custom cookies, gorgeous florals, and a custom onesie painting.

The beloved country couple, who tied the knot on August 1, 2020, revealed that they were expecting in late January 2021.

“Here we go y’all! Lil dude Combs is coming this Spring!” Combs captioned a photo of him and his wife holding a sonogram. “Couldn’t be more excited to start a family with this babe. It’s gonna be a hell of a ride @nicolejcombs.”

Combs later opened up about the moment Nicole told him she was pregnant during an interview on The Bobby Bones Show.

“I cried… I cried a lot. Yeah, I was very excited,” he admitted.

“It was on the bus, she told me on the bus when it was just me and her on there. I think she had been on a trip with some friends, like a girl’s trip kind of thing,” Combs explained. “It’s like Redneck Napa maybe, I’m not sure, but they went there and I guess she found out on the trip, on that trip.”

Luke Combs will release his much-anticipated new album, Growin’ Up, on June 24.
