Drake White has revealed that his tour bus was involved in an accident around 2:30 AM this morning (Oct. 23). The singer confirmed that the band and crew are unharmed, though the driver is currently hospitalized and receiving care.

As a result of the unexpected incident, White is forced to cancel is show in Albany, New York that was originally set to take place tonight. Luckily, he won’t have to be off the road for long. He explained that he still plans to uphold plans to perform this weekend’s shows in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Friday (Oct. 24) and Hampton, New Hampshire on Saturday (Oct. 25).

Drake White went on to express his appreciation to his fans’ understanding as he navigates the aftermath of the tour bus accident. He also asked his followers to send positive thoughts towards the bus driver as he recovers.

“So thank you to the people that bought tickets to Albany. Sometimes unfortunately, these things happen as we put a lot of miles on these roads and just appreciate your thoughts and prayers for being with our bus driver, and we’ll see you down the road,” he stated.

The singer included two photos of the crash in his post, which shows the entire window cracked on the driver’s side.

Since the announcement, fans have rallied around him and his team by offering an outpouring of encouraging and positive messages within the comment section.

“Praying for your bus driver.”

“❤️❤️ sending prayers for everyone”

“Glad y’all are ok, friend ❤️”

“Hugs and prayers, glad your all ok”

This incident occurred in the midst of Drake White’s Keep It Movin’ Tour. The trek launched on October 2 in Lexington, KY and features upcoming stops in New Hampshire, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, Illinois, and more. It will come to a close with back-to-back dates across Alabama on December 10 and December 11.

Plus, the “Nights on Fire” singer is set to appear at his second Benefit For The Brain charity concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on November 17. The show will feature performances from Riley Green, Jon Pardi and Kassi Ashton along with other special guests.

Through this event, White’s non-profit The Benefit For The Brain will donate proceeds to carefully selected charities that reflect causes close to White’s heart, including supporting mental health for military personnel and veterans, especially those dealing with PTSD, promoting brain health in children and adolescents and advancing innovative approaches for stroke recovery and neurological treatments.

Last year, the first Benefit For The Brain show sold out the Ryman Auditorium and featured a star-studded lineup of artists like Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Green, and Colbie Caillat. This epic night raised over $253,000 for the important causes.

White’s journey to starting the charity began in 2019 when his life changed dramatically during a performance in Roanoke, Virginia. What he thought was a normal set quickly turned into an emergency situation when he suddenly collapsed and had a stroke. This resulted in him being diagnosed with an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) and having to undergo seven complex brain surgeries performed by Nashville neurosurgeon Dr. Mericle.

Thanks to the support of his family, friends, and devoted fans, White fought his way back to performing and recording music. Inspired by this experience, he launched Benefit For The Brain in 2023, dedicating himself to raising awareness and resources for brain health while encouraging others to “fight the battle between your ears.”

Reflecting on the important night, White wrote, “Together, we’ll raise our voices for brain & mental health awareness, and I can promise it’s gonna be one powerful night of music and hope. Grab your tickets and let’s make a difference!”
