Drew Parker and his wife Mallory are officially parents of two! On Sunday, July 7th at 5:45am, the couple welcomed their baby girl Landry Tate, who weighed 6lbs 7oz and measured 19in.

The exciting news was shared through a joint Instagram post that gave fans a glimpse into their adorable daughter dressed in a pink onesie and matching headband in her hospital bassinet. The slideshow of photos also captured the heartfelt family memory of their 4-year-old daughter, Harley Greer Parker meeting her little sister for the first time.

“We are so excited to finally meet this sweet baby girl! Thank you, God, for another blessing!” Parker wrote in the caption.

The New Family Member Comes Amid An Exciting Week

The arrival of their newest family member comes just days before Parker is set to unveil his debut album, Camouflage Cowboy. On Friday, July 12, fans will finally get their hands on the 14-track collection that offers an authentic look into his life as a man, husband, and father. To celebrate the milestone release, Parker will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on the following day, Saturday July 13.

Parker shared the final preview of the forthcoming collection with “Luck Don’t Live Around Here,” a song penned by Neil Thrasher, Chris DiStefano and Kelley Lovelace that preaches the belief that true blessings come from faith rather than luck. He emphasizes that true success is earned form “faith, blood, sweat and tears” and he aims to pass down the same lesson to the next generation.

“Luck don’t live around here/ We put in some long, hard days/ Show our youngins how to pray to the one that makes it rain/ This town was built on faith, blood, sweat and tears/ Luck don’t live around here,” Parker sings on the chorus.

Even though Parker didn’t have a hand in writing it, he explained that the song’s powerful message reminds him of his childhood and the lessons and values instilled in him by his own mother that he now carries into his role as a parent.

“‘Luck Don’t Live Around Here’ speaks to who I am and what I believe,” explains Parker. “Growing up, whenever something good happened, I might say we got lucky. But my mom would always remind me, ‘You’re not lucky, you’re blessed, son.’  When I heard this song, I immediately heard my mom’s voice echoing those words.”

Impacting Airwaves With “Love The Leavin’”

This tune follows his current single, “Love The Leavin’,” which impacted Country Radio on June 24 and was the No. 2 most added song upon its debut, with 25 first week adds.

In addition to all the excitement surrounding his debut album, Drew Parker also recently announced his own upcoming headline dates. Plus, he still has a slew of festival and opening dates on the books throughout the summer. Learn more HERE.
