Ella Langley is taking a break from the spotlight.

The ACM New Female Artist of the Year shared an update with fans on Monday, revealing plans to step away for the rest of August from her previous tour commitments, including opening spots with Riley Green and Morgan Wallen, to focus on her mental and physical health.

“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple weeks off to rest and focus on my health – Mind, body and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself,” her statement began.

While she states this was a difficult decision, Langley stressed the importance of taking this necessary break to focus on her own healing. She expressed gratitude for all the fans who show her understanding during this time.

“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love – It truly means the world to me,” Langley added before writing a Scripture verse from Matthew 11:28 that reads, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Luckily, the songstress won’t be away from the stage for too long as she revealed she will return to the road in September.

“Ready to give you my all,” she wrote.

Langley has stepped away from the following shows:

August 15 & 16 – Cleveland, OH

August 19 – Nashville, TN (Listening Room)

August 21 – Bonner-West Riverside, MT

August 22 – Idaho Falls, ID

August 23 – Napa, ID

August 25 – Morrison, CO

Earlier this year, Langley shared that she faced a difficult mental health week during one of the most pivotal moments of her life. In May, the Alabama native made history at the ACM Awards, becoming the night’s biggest winner with five trophies. Despite the career high, Langley admitted the week took a toll on her mentally.

“I won’t lie, this last week has been probably one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time,” she shared during an interview with Audacy’s The Scotty Kay Show. “Which is crazy, because so many good things are happening. So many things I’ve prayed for and dreamed about.”

Feeling overwhelmed, Langley turned to two of her friends and heroes, Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert.

“I was actually just talking to Lainey and Miranda about this. I was like, ‘My imposter syndrome. What do you mean? How can I be in the same category as you two?’” Langley revealed. “That doesn’t make sense to me.”

Fans and members of the music industry applauded the rising star for being so open and honest about her struggles.

“I think it’s important to talk about it,” she said. “Just because I might seem like I’m on the top of the mountain right now, it doesn’t look like that all the time.”

Langley has previously opened up about her family’s history with mental health struggles, once calling it “the disease of my family.”

She previously told Country Now that she hopes to use her platform to bring more awareness to the topic.

“That’s my goal. I have a lot of long-term goals when it comes to this stuff…another thing that I’m really wanting to push is mental health. That’s just the disease [close to] my family is mental health and addiction,” she told Country Now on The Pupdate.

Career wise, 2025 has been an incredible year for Langley, who not only took home five ACM Awards trophies, but also earned her first solo No.1 with her massive hit, “Weren’t For The Wind.”
