Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice is quickly approaching, and we’re here to tell you everything fans want to know about the much-anticipated new season. Premiering on Monday, September 20, the time has come to prep for the next season of the singing competition.
Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about The Voice Season 21, including who’s hosting, who’s coaching, how to watch and more.
Who Is Hosting:
Longtime host Carson Daly will be returning to host the 21st season.
Who Is Coaching:
Fan-favorite coaches Blake Shelton, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson will be returning to the show, with surprise new coach Ariana Grande joining the mix.
Grande sat down with Daly to share her excitement and fears for this new chapter in her career. “I’m very well aware of how I can get. I’m very quick to form certain relationships with people and care very quickly. So I was expecting it to be somewhat difficult but not as difficult as it actually has been. It’s pretty tough. But everyone’s amazing, and it’s been beautiful to meet so many amazing artists.”
The “God Is A Woman” singer is walking into a group of seasoned coaches that are ready to battle it out with their artists on the stage.
Country superstar Blake Shelton, the coach with the most wins in the show’s history, previously won The Voice with Team Blake members Jermaine Paul (Season 2), Cassadee Pope (Season 3), Danielle Bradbery (Season 4), Craig Wayne Boyd (Season 7), Sundance Head (Season 11) Chloe Kohanski (Season 13) and Todd Tilghman (Season 18).
Entering her eighth season, musical icon and daytime talk show host Kelly Clarkson has won with Team Clarkson’s Brynn Cartelli (Season 14), Chevel Shepherd (Season 15) and Jake Hoot (Season 17).
Legend, who has appeared on the show for five seasons won during his first season with the talented Team Legend’s Maelyn Jarmon (Season 16).
Who Are The Battle Advisors:
This season has a wide array of talented battle advisors, including pop sensation Camila Cabello for Team Legend, ACM “Artist of the Decade” Jason Aldean for Team Clarkson, certified platinum artist Dierks Bentley for Team Shelton and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth for Team Grande.

Viewers can tune into the four-time Emmy Award-winning show every Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT beginning on September 20. The Voice can be streamed on NBC Live, the NBC app or NBC’s streaming platform, Peacock.
